After not going to this location in over 6 years, I am glad I went back! The food tasted the same it did back in the 1990s through 2010. The root beer now tastes perfect! In the past their root beer tasted like syrup. They did a great job in improving the product back to the brand they were a couple decades ago!
Fast and friendly service. Kids loved the nuggets. Parents hammered a couple coney dogs with some root beers! And you can't beat the price.
Since Dog n Suds has opened for the season we've been there at least once a week so far. It's one of our favorite places to come for lunch. We love the old fashioned vibe and the food though simple, is AMAZING. My go to is a coney dog and a sloppy joe (with mustard per the recommendation of one of the super nice waitresses) which brings me to my next point which is the waitresses ...they are SO friendly and nice ...it's honestly always a great experience..going there is one of my summertime guilty pleasures...Honestly there aren't too many local little restaurants that offer a quick, hassle-free, reasonably priced meal but Dog n' Suds definitely does! We love bringing our daughter also, she loves chicken nuggets and fries! And my husband orders the char burger which is sooooo good. BEST waitresses, BEST food and BEST service.
The food was delicious drove 2 hours for it we used to have a dog n suds in Weirton it’s closed many years ago the experience made me feel like a kid again will definitely be back
Great service, food , and price what more can you ask for? The root beer was the cherry on top for the fast meal. If your thinking about giving this place a shot I’d say do it you won’t be disappointed.
My only complaint was a got a side of coney sauce and a 3oz cup was 5.30 wow. Other than that, Food was great service was great.
Great food and very efficient staff. When I looked at the prices, I thought there was a typo. Very cheap, but excellent quality.
My wife is fighting cancer and was hungry for a foot long hot dog. The young lady who took my order was very polite and professional. She quickly returned with the food which looked and smelled delicious. My wife was very pleased with her meal, and I would like to thank Dogs n Suds for a wonderful experience.
